about us

WHALE WATCHING TOURS. Our Whale Watching Combo Tour offers the best opportunity to explore the fascinating and beautiful Marino Ballena National Park. Witness the breathtaking sight of 40 tons of warm-blooded animals breaking the surface and then diving again in an enormous shower of white water waves. The tour begins at Punta Uvita Beach and visits the world renowned Punta Uvita Whale Tale, Isla Ballena, Tres Hermanas Islets and the Ventana Ocean Hollows. Keep a lookout for humpback and pilot whales, spinner, bottle nose, and spotted dolphins--all of which are regular visitors along the Uvita coast. But it's not just about whales and dolphins. The Isla Ballena and Tres Hermanas are a wonderland for exotic birds with an amazing array of pelagic specimens.

Subsequently, we set out towards the astounding ocean caverns of the Ventanas shoreline, and if conditions allow, our experienced navigator will take us through the natural waterways to provide us all with a spectacular view inside the caves! The Marino Ballena National Park is home to the most amazing diversity of marine wildlife. One of the best natural ocean habitats in Costa Rica, it stands out as a playground for more than 100 container nose, spotted, regular and spinner dolphins who can be seen performing jumps and spins. Or you might even see a a humpback whale teaching its young to break! Then it's on to our snorkeling adventure at Isla Ballena Whale Island and Punta Uvita Whale tail to observe the underwater world of Marino Ballena National Park.
