Get to explore the ancient canyons and wadis of Oman!
Minimum Age: 6 Year(s)
Are you ready to explore a wadi in Oman? A wadi is a ravine that floods during rainy seasons and is often surrounded by mountains which sometimes features caves and waterfalls. Wadi Bani Awf is one of Oman’s largest wadis located in Wilayat Al Rustaq in the south of the Batinah governorate. This Wadi is home to several villages and many other interesting attractions that this hiking tour allows you to discover!
Along this 1-day hike, discover the famous Snake Canyon, which gets its name from the tortuous effect created by the mountains that "snake" through it. The canyon features several waterfalls emerging from its rocky walls, plenty of natural pools, and huge rocks all around. Feel what it's like to swim underneath a mountain in a cave full of refreshing groundwater. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the canyon as you explore, swim, and take in the views!
Should be physically fit for hiking and swimming at 2000m+ attitude.
Not recommended for people with walking difficulties.
